An online community from Alumni Channel is moderately priced so that organizations of all sizes can start connecting and forming stronger bonds with alumni and members.

Included in the annual fee are site enhancements and features, upgrades, data backups, support documentation, and technical support for administrators.

Cost of Setup
A one-time setup fee is $300 to $500 and includes building your site, 2.5 hours of training, assistance with adding starter content into your site, and an import of your existing data into our standard fields.  There may be an extra charge should you wish to import data into custom fields outside our standard field set.

Cost of Yearly Maintenance
 
The annual software hosting, and technical support, fee
  • Small organizations (under 500 records): $480 per year
  • Medium (500 to 2500 records): $800 per year
  • Large (over 2500 records up to 25,0001): $649 + $.10 per record.
Rates are subject to annual inflationary adjustments. Payments can be made annually, or quarterly.


Training 
The one-time setup fee includes a 2.5-hour personalized training session.  This training is conducted over the phone / Internet with one to three trainees, ideally, each sitting behind his/her own computer.  If necessary additional training will be available at $40/hr.

Additional Options

Additional options (with one-time set up fees) include a custom site header ($200), a menu ($200), and a data import with special fields ($40 for each additional field).  We can also install SSL (https) for an additional charge of $50 per year.

About our pricing..

Fees are based on the hosting of a single community. Discounts are available for multi-community implementations (school districts, multi-campus, etc.).

Each site requires a local person to administer the site to upload photos and files, post news and announcements, answer alumni questions, post links and event announcements, occasionally police the site, etc. Very little technical knowledge is required. If you can send attachments, use a word processing program, and handle a digital camera, then you know what is needed.
